North Kingston Storm Damaged Roof and Ceiling
The Before Photo indicates that the ceiling is getting saturated with rainwater from the roof tear due to the severe straight-line storm that passed this way. The SERVPRO technicians realize the safety hazard from falling ceiling panels, so they quickly did a controlled demolition also to open up the ceiling for drying the attic. Several crew members placed a tarp over the damaged roof area to prevent further water penetration into the attic. The air movers and the LGR--low-grain refrigerated dehumidifier work in tandem to remove excess moisture and save the expensive hardwood flooring, much to the delight our customer. We strive to restore and not replace damaged building elements and fixtures.
